Overview

Since May 2009, the center offers comfortable facilities, a new concept, new exhibitions with a new educational program and is open every day. Projection room, aquariums, touch pool, sensory corridor, otters, turtles, snakes and other fascinating animals.

From the dry plains to the open water, the new interpretation center will make you see, smell and touch life through all of its forms. Exhibition dedicated to the biodiversity of Lake St-Pierre.

Programmation

Discovering biodiversity through personalised guided tours, challenges of the senses and unique contact with some animals.

Permanent Exhibitions

Discovery room Discover tortoise and accept the challenge to touch a snake! Combine the famous exotics species with their Quebec’s cousins.
Espace Jean Lemire A multimedia exhibition on St. Lawrence secrets. The wall projections, the interactive floor and lively narration will make you discover the phenomenon of the tide and the wildlife of the river.
H2O room Aquariums where you can see smaller and bigger fish of the St. Lawrence River, you can also watch the biggest freshwater turtle found in Quebec, the snapping turtle.
Sensory Corridor Sigh, hearing, smell and touch are the senses used by interactive activities. Ten different interactive games, vivarium with plants and little animals
