Overview
Our church is classified as a historical monument for the following main reasons:
1.It is a representative of the Church triumphant period (1840-1940);
2.It is the major masterpiece of Edouard Meloche, with an entire decor done in trompe-l’oeil.
3.It contains many pieces of ancient religious heritage from France and Quebec, dating as far back as 1685.

Within the catholic faith, relics are revered objects since they are closely linked to a saint. They may be a piece of cloth, a fragment of bone, a lock of hair or even a photograph. The person who invokes the power of the saint through the relic may rely upon its protective or sanctifying force.
