The Michel Mill, called a seigniorial mill, illustrates the era of the French seigniorial regime through its architecture and its history of more than two centuries. Its original mechanisms, including functionning millstones which still grind buckwheat grain today, delivers a testimony of the technological transformation of the traditional water mills of Quebec, from the use of the wheel up until the arrival of the turbine. Classified as a historic monument in 1985.
