Overview
A century and more of history to relive! Founded in 1992, the Museum of the Filles de Jésus has as its mission to preserve the heritage of the Community of the Filles de Jésus in Canada and to diffuse it. Three exhibitions are presented here, one of which is a visit of the most beautiful chapel of neo-gothic style in Canada, a real treasure to be discovered.

From Brittany to the Mauricie
The exhibition From Brittany to the Mauricie relates the history and the contribution of the Congregation of the Filles de Jésus within the community here and also elsewhere, in the fields of education, the care of the sick and work in foreign missions.

Divine inspiration: works of sister Marie St-Prudent
Elizabeth Avery was born in Truro, Nova Scotia in 1894. She made profession in the Congregation of Les Filles de Jésus on August 20, 1914 and was known afterwards as Sister Marie St-Prudent. Until 1933, she taught school in Arichat, Nova Scotia and in Dalhousie, New-Brunswick.
