  • Go to Jail! Go to Jail! Next to the Museum, the Old Prison of Trois-Rivières (1822) - a classified historic monument - allows you to catch a glimpse of life behind bars.
  • Open Storage Area Robert-Lionel-Séguin Open Storage Area Robert-Lionel-Séguin How are the objects in the Museum's collections stored? What techniques are used to preserve them from the ravages of time? The behind-the-scenes operations of the Québec Museum of Folk Culture are presented during a guided visit of the Robert-Lionel-Séguin open storage area.
Temporary exhibitions
  • Cirque Champagne from A to Z Exhibition of work by Bruno Champagne, one of Québec’s new folk artists. Discover his festive works, which present sculpted characters that unsettle and act as a social critique.
  • Duplessis donne à sa province; The political marketing of the Union Nationale In this exhibit, you will learn more about the first manifestations of political marketing that was just as effective as the marketing of today's major political parties. And, in fact, see how Maurice Duplessis himself was the object of a careful "marketing" campaign.
  • Maeva's Odyssey Maeva's Odyssey This exhibit/adventure invites young people aged 5 to 12 to embark on a spaceship taken straight from the imagination of Captain Maeva, a young girl who, on night, dreams of a spaceship whose mission is to save the planet.
  • Now that’s sports! Sports icons in the Mauricie region Starring the greatest names in the world of Mauricie sports as well as the teams and events that left their mark on the region, Now that's sport! will commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Mauricie Sports Hall of Fame. Presented in partnership with Sport-Hommage Mauricie.
  • Québec, Criminally Speaking Québec, Criminally Speaking An exhibition on Québec's criminal history in the twentieth century, set against the backdrop of an evolving Québec society. The exhibit looks back at the major criminal investigations that marked the first half of the century, as well as crime trends since 1960 and advances in forensic science, where Québec has been among the pioneers in North America.
  • Riding with Meteorites Riding with Meteorites Riding with Meteorites is a voyage of discovery where visitors encounter celestial bodies on a potential collision course with Earth, guided by Téo the astronaut and Laïka the space dog. With several spectacular pieces, the exhibition will be a hit with kids and families, amateurs and connoisseurs alike. Cultural experience
  • Sentenced to one Night Come with a group to experience a One-night sentence in prison: booking procedures, testimonials from ex-inmates, a night in cell and breakfast fit for a prisoner. Available only for groups of 15 to 39 persons.
